Why I Started You Me & Property

There wasn't one big moment. It wasn't a lightbulb. It was hundreds of little moments.

Walking away from valuations knowing someone had chosen the company instead of the person. Watching buyers get passed around three different departments. Seeing sellers become reference numbers instead of real people.

It never sat right with me.

Moving home is one of the biggest things you'll ever do. It can be exciting, stressful, emotional and everything in between. Yet somewhere along the way, estate agency became more about targets than people.

I wanted to change that.

That's why You Me & Property exists.

The name wasn't picked because it sounded catchy. It says exactly what we believe. It's you, your dedicated property expert and your property. That's the relationship. Nothing complicated.

As we grow, that won't change.

You won't get a random negotiator answering your calls one week and someone else the next. You'll choose the person you want to work with, and they'll be by your side from the day you first get in touch until the day you hand the keys over.

For me, it's never just been about selling houses.

It's about the young couple buying their first home together. The family needing more space because another baby is on the way. The couple downsizing after thirty years. The fresh start after a difficult chapter.

Those moments matter.

Property is just what we do.
